About Me
Hello! My name is Lindsay and I am a child and family photographer in the Northern Utah area. I’ve been married to my husband for 14 years and have four sweet children. I have a degree in Elementary Education and taught for 4 years before having my children. I started photography as a way to take better pictures of my kids, and learned that I love this art (and people) so much that I wanted to make it a career!
We live in a gorgeous state with amazing scenery as backdrops, but my focus in my session is to capture the emotion and personality of my clients while allowing the scenery to bring light and color to the photos. I edit in warm, bright natural tones to bring a sense of joy to the images I produce. I aim to give a variety of poses in each session, including a combination of candids and purposefully posed shots. I want my clients to have fun and feel relaxed in their session, so playing, joking and fun poses are often a part of our time together, especially when children are involved!
Family Photography
Every family is different, so my goal is to create a sense of love and closeness while also photographing the unique personalities within your family unit. Each family session includes edited images delivered through an online photo gallery. The images are fully yours once they have been delivered to you with the rights to print, share and post on social media. My turn around time is 2-3 weeks, depending on the busyness of my schedule. For all sessions except Mini Sessions, you may suggest a location within 25 minutes of McKay Dee Hospital. There will be an extra charge for any location farther than 25 minutes unless it’s one of my own locations.
Mini Sessions
$100
Mini sessions are a great way to get a series of quick, posed pictures at a less expensive rate. While I offer specific mini session in the Fall time, you can request a mini session any time of the year. Minis are shot in a location of my choosing in Weber or Davis county (depending on the time of year) and consist of posed family shots, individuals of the kids, kids together, couples and individuals of mom & dad with the kids. A requested mini sessions is 30 minutes long and 15 images. This type of session doesn’t allow for the time to play and get candid shots, but it is a perfect way to get pictures for Christmas cards, updated pictures for your wall, or presents for loved ones!
Full Family Session
$195
Full family sessions give us much more time to interact as your family gets comfortable in front of the camera. We will take posed shots of your family, children together, individual portraits and couples, and parents with each child, as well as candid pictures of your family interacting with one another. A family session includes a one hour session and 30+ images delivered through an online gallery, with full rights to share, print and post on social media. For full sessions, you will be able to request a location you like or pick from several of my locations.
Extended Family Session
$250
This Session contains everything a family session does, but with more people! An extended family session can include up to 4 family units, with a $25 fee for each additional family unit. These sessions usually last up to 1 1/2 hours in one location (it can be suggested by you, or you can choose one of my locations). You will receive 40+ images through an online gallery with full rights to share, print and post on social media. Typically the bigger the extended family, the more pictures you’ll receive. I love extended sessions because they are filled with a lot of laughter and smiles!
Babies and Kids
Newborns
Mini: $195 Lifestyle:$250
In newborn sessions I focus on a combination of natural and wrapped poses, with the option for a lifestyle session that includes the family. Lifestyle type sessions are 2-3 hours long and mini session are about 1.5 hours. There’s nothing better than snuggling a baby, so these sessions are some of my favorites!
Portraits
$195
Cake smashes, maternity, milestones, seniors and more! These sessions are an hour long and include 25+ edited images delivered through an online gallery.
Couples
$195
Love and emotion are my goal during couples sessions! We’ll capture genuine smiles as well as more romantic poses. These sessions are an hour and include 25+ edited images delivered through an online gallery.
